There was an outdoor patio for dining and dancing under the stars in the summer and elegant buffets on the weekends in the winter. The chef was world renowned and the General Wayne had many patrons. My parents held their 50th wedding anniversary party there in 1989 and it had been extensively remodeled and much of the quaint charm removed by theatrical type lighting around the bar. I have numerous photographs. While I understand that the residents do not want a restaurant in this locale (due to noise and such after hours) does the recent rezoning allow for a B&B to be established?
