Nassau Point Upper-Cut, Round II
April 11th, 2007 category: North Fork Neighborhoods, People and Places, Real Estate News
…Jim Norris never used the boat again. My dad sold it for him and Norris bought a new Chris Craft from him.
Jim was a personable guy. You never saw him in town or at the boat yard without his two body guards. He used to frequent the only bar in New Suffolk, (now Legends restaurant & bar) drink and join in on the crap game that was going on in the back room with the locals. Can’t you just picture this guy on his knees rolling the bones with two big goons hovering over him!
Well, that’s just a bit of lore from Nassau Point. Join me later for more stories and tales from local neighborhoods on the North Fork.
